About Me

Professional Experience

I utilized the guidance and necessary framework from this MPA program to help propel me further into a lifetime of service. I have had life-changing experiences volunteering with Habitat for Humanity in Florida, working
with Americorps on numerous service projects, lending a helping hand at CUMMA, and a plethora of community drives. Through volunteering, I found a passion for what I want to do and why I want to serve communities.

The power behind my purpose and passion is fueled
by education. It has been said that the most authentic thing about us all is our capacity to
create, love, overcome, endure, transform, and become greater than our suffering. It takes
persistence and courage to become who we really are. I am aiming for undeniable success
in the nonprofit sector.

Board of Directors Secretary

● Fostering communication and diligence through proper management and utilization of important records such as meeting minutes and
the organization's bylaws.
● Drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments
● Maintaining paper and electronic files

● Attending peer lead support sessions, in-person and virtual.

Montclair State University, Center for Community Engagement

Service- Learning Coordinator

● Helped manage community partnerships and service placements for over 70 Montclair State University students by making site
visits, managing communication with partners, and coordinating projects.
● Created and collected program evaluations to assess success and areas of improvement for the Service-Learning program.
● Collaborated with program staff to address issues and concerns related to service-learning students service in the community.
● Planned Community Partner Fair for over 50 Montclair State students and Coordinated days of service for over 300 Montclair State University students.

Reconnect Program Care Solutions, LLC - Newark, NJ

Administrative Assitant

● Engaged in research, policy development and advocacy for social services driven around homeless,
elderly, and families & individuals in crisis.
● Assisted with general office work including data entry, record keeping, filing and customer relations
● Participated in Field work shadowing program monitors during site visits
● Assisted program staff with assisting the homeless through the My Newark App.
